What can you expect when working with me?
Here are the steps we’ll take to build an effective mentoring relationship:

We start our relationship with a complimentary 121 Discovery business mentoring session.
During this session, I will begin to get to know you and your business. We will discuss your business vision, goals and challenges as well as what you expect from our sessions.
This initial conversation is also a great way to see if we ‘click’ and help you decide if I am the right mentor for you and your business.

In preparation, depending on the outcome of our discovery session, I will send documents that will help you actively reflect on the current state of your business. What is my vision? Do I have a realistic strategy to get there? Why am I feeling stuck? Are there too many options? What are my goals? What next? Why are my customers not buying? Should I launch a new product or service? Why is my business not making enough?
We will also formally contract at this stage.

Depending on the mentoring package you have bought, we work together for between 3 to 12 months, by meeting usually monthly usually via Zoom. Initial sessions may be 90 minutes, but typically sessions last between 60-90 minutes, depending on what business issues need to be resolved.
Occasional face-to-face sessions in London are also possible.
Whilst my business mentoring sessions are informal and flexible to your needs, each has a backbone and uses proven industry frameworks to provide you with the tools, skills, and knowledge to take back to your business straight after each session.

At the end of each session, I will ask you for feedback and ask you to reflect and commit to your agreed actions. At the beginning of the next session, I will hold you to account, this ensures you stay on track and will achieve agreed goals.
In between your sessions, you are not alone. We will be in contact over email to ensure your business is kept on course.
Measuring Success
The best results become evident over time – typically across a year. Many of my mentoring clients come back after a course of business mentoring as their business grows and they face new challenges. That said, some pressing and immediate issues can be tackled within a few months. Change takes courage and some decisions seem too difficult to take. With a business mentor behind you, providing honest guidance, giving you the hard truths and working with you, you will find clarity of purpose and a certainty that will enable you and the business to move forward with confidence.
